Plan B by Pete Wilson

What a book! I could not put this one down. Who in their life has not hit that plan B wall? Pastor Wilson weaves personal experiences and Biblical stories about people who have hit those Plan B walls but still worshipped and loved God unconditionally. It is stories of faith and character.

There are no guarantees that our problems get tied up with a fancy bow but God never leaves us no matter what the problem or concern your life may be facing.

I loved this so much that I am making it required reading for my ad council members at my church. It is a book that you need to read twice or even three times to fully comprehend its meaning.

Pastor Wilson is brutally honest and many times humerous. You will love this book!

Love on a Dime by Cara Lynn James

Love on a Dime is a perfect summer romance novel. No it is not the great American Novel but who cares? I read this poolside during a much needed vacation and it was just what the Dr. ordered!

The novel takes place in 1899 at a summer resort in Newport Rhode Island. Lilly Westbrook, jilted by her lover, takes to writing dime store novels under a pen name. Her family would face much shame if she were to be found out! But her lover shows up just as she is getting engaged to a rich society man!

What fun! Yes, it is predictable but it is a great book! Have fun reading it!

Wonders Never Cease by Tim Downs

The best part about belonging to Booksneeze is that you get books that you would never normally pick out. This is the case with Wonders Never Cease. It looked interesting, I picked it out and wow was I glad I did. From how quickly it is passed from friend to friend tells the story. It is a book that you just can't put down! I read it cover it cover in hours!

Do you believe in angels? It is a question we all ponder and this is a great novel exploring that wonderful concept.

The story is believable, the characters are lovable (or in some cases unlovable) and Mr. Downs writes a riveting story. I have been fascinated with angels every since reading Angels by Billy Grahmn. Reading Wonders Never Cease makes me believe in them even more!

If you love a great novel this book is for you! I highly recommend it!

Walk Like you Have Somewhere to Go

Walk like you have somewhere to go is the recent autobiography of Lucille O'Neal, mother of Shaquille O'neal, famous NBA star. Being a big Shaq fan drew me to this book and I was not disappointed.

Ms. O'Neal tells a story of her life in a easy, interesting and riveting style. She is very honest and very compelling. From her humble beginnings in the south, to a tramatic move to New Jersey to her adult life, she has led a very interesting life.

Sometimes you are not sure if an author is being authentic in her faith or just telling a story but Ms. Oneal is the real deal. She backs up her story with scriptures for you to lean on as well as a list of her favorite songs. I had some issues with the story of her divorce but I think her respect and need for integrity kept the real story at hand.

This is an easy read and you can't put it down once you stop.

I received this book from Thomas Nelson publishers in return for a review. I was not required to give a favorable review. This is in compliance with FCC regulations.

Hand of Fate

Hand of Fate by Lis Wiehl was a complete and pleasant surprise. From the first page to the last I was completely taken and read it almost in one sitting!

Lis Wiehl is a storyteller. The characters are compelling and believeable. I found myself on the local library website looking for more novels by her.

The book is about a popular radio host who is murdered by sarin gas in his studio. Murder mysteries are not my genre of reading but this was fabulous! The best part....I didn't figure it out ahead. It was not predictable or boring, just the opposite.
